ReAttach Therapy Workshop in Delhi

A workshop on the ReAttach Therapy is being jointly hosted by the Psyuni Trust (India) and the ReAttach Therapy Institute (the Netherlands), from January 27 to January 29, 2017 in New Delhi. This workshop aims to provide the basic skill training to the participants including interactive hands-on training to help participants practice and automate skills before working with individuals with neuro-psychological challenges.

What is ReAttach?

ReAttach is a short, friendly and accessible intervention that has shown to be a good choice for patients with mild or more severe mental health problems like ASD, personality disorders or OCD. ReAttach is a neutral or positive emotional experience. We find great results in individuals that suffer from traumatic experiences or anxiety problems. We feel that it is a benefit for many patients that they do not have to talk about their problems. Cognitive bias modification allows us to alter maladaptive patterns into more adaptive and healthy biases very quickly in a positive way. The method can be adapted to individual developmental stages and is therefore also accessible for young children or individuals with cognitive delay.

Autism

For individuals with autism, we focus on training Multiple Sensory Integration Processing and coherent concepts of self and significant others. This is a major step forward: the coherency brings self-awareness and behaviour control and reduces problems in daily life functioning. The variant for autism was presented at the Autism Challenges and Solutions Conference in Moscow last April, at the World Autism Organisation Conference in Denmark (2016) and Kuwait (2014). Prof. Dr. Vladimir Trajkovski lectured about ReAttach in Belgrade and introduces ReAttach in the Balkan Region.

Neuro rehabilitation

First steps have been taken to explore the benefit of the variant for autism with individuals that suffer from brain-injury problems.
